Thanks for the tips! I don't have a timing light, but know several people that should. Timing never crossed my mind. My timing belt was replaced last spring, so could that have anything to do with it? I did some more research and think I saw timing belt jumping mentioned. Is there any way my timing belt could've jumped a tooth, or would it be VERY noticeable (more so than my symptoms)? I'm no expert, but the car drives decent so I don't think that would be it. I'm just anal and want to make sure. Also, out of curiosity, if the timing belt "times" the engine, what does checking/adjusting the timing actually do? Thanks again for any and all input!
